Board Break

MACC Foundation Annual Board Break-A-Thon is the main fundraising event of the year. Martial artists from Martial Arts America and other schools and clubs come together to show off some board breaking skills all for a good cause. 100% of donations go towards the MACC Foundation which we then use throughout the community for our various grants. It is a public event with public participation strongly encouraged. This year our event is being held at The District Town Center at Prairie Trail in Ankeny on June 25th, 2022 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there! In total, we have raised over $72,100 from all of our Board Breaks!

5K Family Fun Run Image

5K Family Fun Run

MACC Foundation’s 5K Family Fun Run is an annual event that focuses on physical fitness for the whole family! There is no requirement to run but the 5K is a USA Track and Field sanctioned event if you choose to run. It’s a great event for the whole family held in local communities. All proceeds go towards the MACC Foundation and end up going to local individuals and organizations in need. In total, we have raised over $37,900 from all of our 5K Family Fun Runs!

Christmas Gift Distribution Image

Christmas Gift Distribution

At the end of each year since 2013, the MACC Foundation delivers holiday gifts and books to two low income elementary schools in the Des Moines area. Dressing up in our doboks (Tae Kwon Do uniforms) and pre-wrapping the gifts, this is our favorite event of the year and our most direct contribution program we have. It is a great way to provide some holiday cheer and much needed educational materials to classrooms and students in need. In total, we have donated over $18,500 in gifts from all of our Christmas Gift Distributions!
